What elements of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have? The elements of the genre that I chose to base my final task on that this movie have is the lighting of the movie. In the beginning of the movie the movie has a really bright lighting but as the movie progressed the lighting becomes really dull and dark. I choose these elements because it's important for horror movies to have dark lighting to create the horror and dark effect. But also for the balance of having both light and dark lighting for our final task. What elements of the genre did this movie have that you like? Element of the movie that I liked are the narrative. I liked how the movie starts off it being a normal day for a group of teenagers but then eventually becomes a group of teenagers but then eventually becomes one of the worst days of there lives. It shows how bad the through a lot from the zombies. It shows how bad the zombies effect were and how dangerous they were. The clothing appealed to me also as i

Decision Making Time: Genre choosing

Image
Hi Guys! Welcome back. For our opening sequence as a group we decided to do the genre Horror. We decided to choose this genre because it will go best with our pitched idea. Our pitch idea is to do a murder story and the movie elements like cams, clamps, sound, and editing work with what were going for. Horror movies have really dark lighting and uses jump cuts which would be a good mood to use for making a murder film. While the other genres Christmas and mystery wouldn't work because Christmas has a really bright positive mood and mystery doesn't give as much suspense than horror does. Which is why we decided to choose horror as our genre.

Pitches for our story!!!!!

Image
Hello! To continue this final task, we have to talk about the pitches we created. First we have pitch A, which is teenager camping murdered. And then we have pitch B, which is wife divorced walking road killed I would not be interested in producing pitch A since the scenery could be difficult to achieve with some of our members. For example, I am not a fan of bugs or outside in general so camping can be a trouble. Also, it does cost money to go camping so that is a problem as well. Because as highschooler students, we don't really have money to freely spend. Also, our parents are against the idea due to safety concerns so this idea is difficult to do. I would not be interested in pitch B because I feel like the scenery in where we will film is too broad and does not really impact the film. Its not as scary as the feeling we want to convey and it is the main part of what makes the film scary. Also, distance wise. I live a good hour or so far away from this location. My parents are

Group Intro :)

Image
Hi bloggers:) These are some questions and answer to give some information about my group and project!! 1)Who is in group? The people that are in group my group are the same from the last project. Which was the music video. The only difference in the final task is that my friend Andrea invited one of her friend. Which her name is Natalie. So overall we are 4 people ; me, Andrea, Jaden, and Natalie. 2)Why did I choose this group? I choose this group because they are both very organized. They also keep up with all their work. When I talk to them they also have plenty ideas. Which in end proved to me that they proactive thinkers and are very creative. This also helps me know that this group will only move faster because once we have our idea. We would just have to do the research and then comes the fun part. The next reason why I choose them was because I have them in many of my classes. Andrea in Executive Internship, AP Spanish, and AICE Media Studies. While Natalie I have her in my AI

Hi bloggers, I am back to finish my final task and my last into blog. It it crazy how it my final intro I have to do my last one this year. I just remember when i explained my hobbies and dislikes to my bloggers. Well now I am going to fill you in on how my life is going and how I am going to start this project. Recently all my classes are getting harder due to how they are all honors or college level classes. The other thing is that my classes are also assigning a lot of work leaving me with little time. Not only this but my midterms are coming up. Leaving me to decimate hours into studying and practicing study guides.  On top of that I have my travel volleyball which takes most of my afternoons due to conditioning. Plus my community service which is something I enjoy doing because it is something I believe in. Which is that people should give back to their communities. But still after all of this I will have time to finish the final task. Overall this task looks awesome and I am ac
