Production Blog: Choosing Groups And Ideas

Today I am going to be talking about the complications of figuring out a group for this music video. First I had a group I could trust defiantly until last minute they called me and said they would rather work solo. So on that day I called all my friends until found one friend's group still had one more spot left. We worked on the project and brainstormed ideas for the song. In the end we choose Ain't it Fun by Paramore until two girls in that group quit on me and my friend again. This time I invited one my friend over since he was lonely and had leave his group due to how they did nothing of work. In the end we ended up changing the song again to Manna Sera Bonito by Karol G but think the group still doubts about this song. Due to how it is in Spanish and it is talking about heart break a little bit. Choosing the music for this video is really hard. Trying to find a song that will fit the theme as well goes with choosing the song as well. At least the theme is clear which is about people should open there lives to the world and to their relationships like in friendship and family members. Another thing the team accomplished is completing the storyboard which established what the video is going to do. Planning is also basically set and the team knows what they are going to use and how to use it. Right now we trying to set our first location to start in. One of our ideas is to start in haunted house as one of the scenes with friends. The team is still thinking about this idea but most of the team members are liking this idea. Since it is Halloween season and it gives an excuse why to go to a haunted house. Which would also give the team a bonding experience and help the team work better. Overall the team is trying to set goals and dates to start actually working on this project. Which means start filming it and getting our friends to help the music bring it's theme alive.

  Hi Bloggers, I am finally back! Today I am going to explain the first day of filming for this amazing project. Since I was the director I needed to get there first. To see what place looks best for each scene. I honestly love the place that me and my group choose at the end. The park gave that sense of horror and since the day light saving the sun went out early. Allowing video seem as if it was filmed in the dark but honestly was filmed around 5-6pm. The trees also seemed as if the video was taken in a camping site. Due to how tall they were. Now when starting filming it took me a second because I had to tell my team mates how to do each scene and what to say exactly but in the end it didn't take as long.   Hi bloggers, hope your having a fantastic day.  Today I am finally going to explain what I worked on now with the commercial. I haven't work on the commercial for a long time due to my other classes but today I used my 3 hours of homework to finally start using my camera so I can do the introduction of video. I had to spend like 20 minutes of time for the pictures again. I know I had to have the pictures done. But my teachers told me it was suppose to be to 30seconds to 1minute. My video was going to be longer than 4 minutes so I had to see how I was going to cut it. I am basically just going to show some pictures of me and my love ones. The other pictures are going to be of all my hobbies I had in my life. So first I choose where my video was going to be shot which was going to be in my room.   Hey bloggers, I am back but not with the reviews yet. I changed my mind and decided to edit my video again. One of my teammates made a new ending which made the whole team come back an see if we like it. Which I did, I thought it was amazing. It had the perfect cliff hanger to it. Yes the team and I needed to edit it a little  but it was the best option to the video.  It was a driving scene, in which my teammate was driving while his mom was filming him. He drove slow but in the video we increased the speed by like 5 making it seem as if he was driving super fast. After cutting and adding noise to this last scene, we watched the video again. We each took notes on the video. I noticed that the monster could have a better noise affect and the scream of the victim could have been louder. To increase the horror of the film. I also thought we could add some audio to the car scene so it won't look weird. So I suggested a 911 call or a call of help so it can seem more intense....
